Edward G. Carey, VP of Administration and Financial Relations

Mr. Carey graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and he holds a certificate to teach Real Estate Finance in the California Community College System. After graduation and military service in the U.S, Army, he began a career in the Savings and Loan Industry in California. Mr. Carey worked his way up to Vice President and Director of Real Estate Lending in Los Angeles County for American Savings and Loan and was Vice President and Branch Manager for Glendale Federal Bank (now Cal-Fed Bank). He has had a successful career as a home builder and land developer in Southern California and was General Manager for Lawrence Welk Properties Inc.

Most recently, Mr. Carey has been a consultant for several technology companies on applications for public offerings (Space Ordnance Systems Inc. and GEO Power Sources Inc.). He served as Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for City of Vista, CA. and was named Citizen of the Year for the City of Vista, CA.
