Products

Since power blackouts have become a normal part of the California scene, we have observed a growing interest in renewable, non-polluting energy systems among the public and government at large. This interest in “green technologies” turns out to be a fortuitous development for our product line because each product is anchored by our ambient light powered control system. Ambient’s core technology, referred to as LEIT, is detailed in its patents. LEIT stands for Light Energized Instrumentation Technology. Built around the LEIT technology, we have developed and are in the process of developing systems that utilize this technology. One of our long standing products has been our innovative and commercially successful line of irrigation control systems designated LEITControl. These systems have a long track record of success covering over a decade of use in over 800 municipalities worldwide. We are now in the process of developing its ALERT line of systems. Standing for Ambient Light Energized Response Technology, these systems embody all of the advantages of our LEIT core technology married with sophisticated sensor technology to solve environmental issues that are particular to remote locations. Issues such as fire, intrusion and water monitoring are just some of the directions that we are currently pursuing with our ALERT systems.

The Energy Platform is a time proven innovative battery-free, long term power source that is highly scaleable and configurable to specific application requirements. It can be interfaced with a variety of applications and deployed in a wide range of environments where it will continue to operate for over 20 years requiring minimal maintenance.

The LEITControl is a programmable, self contained, water management and control system. It can be programmed to control up to 28 electrically operated solenoid valves, spanning an area of over one mile with up to 12 independent water schedules per valve. A wireless handheld remote control unit with a one mile range can be used to modify water schedules.

The FireALERT system is an early warning wildfire detection and wireless linked alarm system deployed in the buffer zone between raw timber/grassland properties and developed properties, spaced in grids of four units per square mile. It is capable of immediately alerting the appropriate fire authority upon detecting the ignition of a forest fire.

The IntruderALERT system is a wireless linked illegal intrusion detection and alarm control system for border security. The system can also be used to protect other valuable remote properties such as archeological, anthropological and paleontology sites. The IntruderALERT system will also serve as a remote people, animal or car counter.

The FluidALERT system is a wireless linked hydrological sensor based management and control system. The system will be deployed beside inland waterways to provide valuable data such as volume, temperature, flow, pressure and chemistry.
