Jonathan
M. Luck, B.Sc. Honors, President / CEO
Mr.
Luck was educated in England. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree
with honors from Reading University in the field of Cybernetics
& Instrument Physics. He also earned a degree in Mathematics
from Reading. In 1970 he joined Texas Instruments and gained work
experience in their consumer integrated circuit foundry and test
labs. Career advancement took him to a position as design engineer
on the automated phone response system used by the London Transport
System. As a consultant, he developed the underwater recovery unit
and autopilot test package for the Stingray Torpedo at Marconi Space
and Defense Systems. After relocating to the United States, he was
employed to design and develop an ultra low power digital package
for an Underwater Current Meter Project.
Mr. Luck subsequently served as Vice
President and Chief Engineer at Altec Irrigation, Inc., where he
applied his expertise in ultra low power control systems to design
and develop the LEITControl series of Irrigation Control
Systems. He is the author of several patents involved with ultra
low power circuit design and solar energy storage and management
systems.
