Welcome to the Photo Gallery for the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve Test Site. Jasper Ridge is located approximately 40 miles south of San Francisco, slightly west of the town of Palo Alto, CA. The Preserve is under the authority of Stanford University and will be the first test site for the FireALERT System.

Two controlled burns have been scheduled for 2002 to reduce biomass fuel, which will give us the chance to monitor the FireALERT System's performance and collect valuable fire signature data.
