FireALERT Systems' Product Line

DETECTION
This group of products, comprising the FireALERT-DC and FireALERT-DCS, detect the signature of a wildfire event and communicate the resulting alarm to the appropriate central receiving and dispatch fire center via on-board satellite or terrestrial spread spectrum wireless radios. The FireALERT-DCS will also control the activation of a compatible owner installed suppression system to protect a structure.

COMMUNICATION
For FireALERT Systems that use on-board terrestrial spread spectrum wireless radios, the supporting wireless communication network consists of one or more RepeaterALERTs and a ReceiverALERT. The RepeaterALERT relays the alarm from the FireALERT units to the ReceiverALERT. On receiving this alarm information from the last RepeaterALERT in the communication chain, the ReceiverAlert interfaces with the NetALERT for rotating and display of the alarm information.

ACTIVATION
When the FireALERT is required to activate a compatible suppression system or a SonicALERT, it sends control signals to ActAlert. This magnetically latched solenoid actuator interfaces with compatible control valves to provide the above required activation function.

ANNUNCIATION
When an audible warning is required to alert a community or homeowner of an approaching wildfire event, the SonicALERT is a compressed air or nitrogen energized high output siren that is activated by the FireALERT system using the ActALERT. It is activated by a pneumatic control valve.

NOTIFICATION
When the FireALERT detects a fire condition, it transmits an alarm via satellite or terrestrial radio to NetALERT. NetALERT processes all incoming alarm data from all FireALERT's and puts all emergency response information to the appropriate personnel.
