City of Deadwood, South Dakota, signed the contract for installation
of the FireALERT-DC wildfire early warning systems.
Deadwood was heavily threatened by wildfire in 2002 and narrowly
escaped destruction. |

Control Systems will be demonstrating the FireALERT-DC
System for Alberta Plywood, a division of West Fraser Mills
Ltd., located in Slave Lake, Alberta, Canada. A number of mill
operators and government officials will be attending the demonstration. |

for homeowners at the Wildfire 2002 Conference in Kansas City,
where it generated rave reviews from many of the wildfire professionals
from around the world.

Control Systems was able to attend a prescribed burn at the
Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve in Northern California. The
burn was conducted on October 17th after having been rescheduled
due to hazardous weather conditions.

Control Systems attended a prescribed burn at the Sequoia /
Kings Canyon National Park in California. The Ambient Team collected
valuable data that will assist in further refinement and development
of the FireALERT System.

at the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve as well as at the Russian
Ridge Open Space Preserve have been rescheduled to August 2002
due to extremely hazardous weather conditions.
